Fun Stuff...

Yep, there has been some fun stuff going on here :) We are enjoying fall, which now I think is just about over since it SNOWED today! Blah, I really HATE snow! But I think I am the only one cause the kids LOVED it! Here are a few things that we have been up to lately...

THE PUMPKIN WALK:

Logan has a pumpkin walk that was kinda fun...AND FREE! You get to walk around and look at some cool pumpkins that people have carved or painted and created some interesting stuff.

Mckay's favorite part was all the pumpkins kids had made and they were all lit up.

There we some cool pumpkin scenes...I really liked this Michael Jackson one and there was a PC & Mac one that was pretty funny :)

I think the kids favorite thing was riding the shuttle bus to and from the event....they couldn't hold still and were laughing the whole time.

We only stayed about 45 minutes cause it started getting cold and afterwards we went to Village Inn for some yummy hot cocoa!

FIRST SNOW:

Today, the kiddos ran outside in the their jammies to go play in the snow. They were so excited and wanted to build a snowman...THANK GOODNESS there was not enough snow for that.

CRAZY KYLIN:

This is about 6 seconds of Kylin mood swings. She really cracks me up with her different multiple personalities...I can't keep up :

ONE- MONTH OLD ALREADY!

I can't believe a month has already gone by! She wasn't gaining weight at first and had a little trouble getting rid of her jaundice, but after substituting a little high calorie formula into her diet she got better. She still wakes up every 2-hours to eat and I am EXHAUSTED. But, we love her sooo much! She has been having LOTS more awake time now, and I am starting to get into a groove and figuring out how to take care of 3-kids :)

So, that is what us Howe's were up to these past 2-weeks or so...Lots of fun Halloween stuff coming soon. Now I just need to finish Mckay's costume!!!

I LOVE fall....

Fall is my FAVORITE season...I just wish it lasted longer here in Utah. I love cozy sweaters, colorful leaves, the crisp smell in the air, pumpkins and Halloween. Every year we have a family tradition to go to Sherwood Hills and play in the leaves and have a picnic. It was BEAUTIFUL day and the kids had a blast! It was hard to keep up with them as they were running up and down the trails while Craig lugged Piper around in her car seat.

This is "Butt-crack Bob!" That is what we called her all afternoon. Ever since she has been potty trained, she seems to be sporting a plumbers butt. Well, at least she has a cute little tush. hehe.

I hope you all are having a great Fall season...I know we are :)

Fall Leaves & Conference...

I just wanted to thank everyone for being so sweet and thoughtful and leaving me such nice comments on my last post. It is also good to hear that I am not the only one that has gone through something like a lost IUD, it is pretty common. I will keep you all updated on the surgery, it is pretty minor I think. Still, I am a baby though. :0)

So, anyways a couple days ago we went up Sardine Canyon to Sherwood Hills to have a picnic and play in the leaves. It is a family tradition that I LOVE! Fall is my favorite season because it is just so darn BEAUTIFUL, too bad winter has to come and ruin it! But, the kids had tons of fun throwing the leaves around and rolling in them. Plus, there are tons of beautiful trails to walk around. If you haven't seen Sardine Canyon at this time of year I totally recommend you go :)

They only get McDonald's Happy meals on special Occasions...they are like 4 bucks a piece! And can I just say the toys used to be cooler. I love that they have apples & chocolate milk now though.

They found a praying mantis, and were fascinated by it...the first one they've ever seen.

Also, I have to throw in that I really have LOVED conference this past couple days. It seemed like the topic was, "Dealing with hard times and enduring" It was so great to get a little boost and realize that everyone goes through hard times and that Heavenly Father is there for us. I really got a lot out of most everyone's talks this year and I can't wait till they come out in the Ensign. Here is a couple pictures of us snuggling while watching & Mckay knowing it was Pajama Sunday wanting to wear my Pj's :)

Ky is such a Daddy's girl...makes me jealous

Don't mind the hair or no makeup...thank goodness it is out of focus because Ky was the one that pushed the timer button and then ran back and jumped on the couch. hehe.

Day at the Farm

We went to Brigham City to visit Jon & Janna the other day and Janna decided to take us to Jon's Police Chief's farm. It was so much fun! The kids all loved touching and riding on the animals...THANKS Janna! Mckay got to ride a tortoise! It walked around with him on it's back like he didn't weigh a thing.
Kylin loved looking at all the animals. You can see in her eyes how excited she was.

This pig was blind and squealed every time Charidy & Coen touched him. It was the funniest thing.

I was surprised that Mckay was brave enough to touch this goat. Usually he is kind of scared of animals.

Their farm was right on the river. It was really pretty with the mountains behind them.

I wouldn't let Kylin in with any of the animals cause I was afraid she would pull their hair and bite them. The poor girl wanted in there so bad though.

She did have fun riding the metal elephant though.

There was an ostrich there too. It was pretty cool because I have never seen one that up close before.

Family Night

For Family home evening we went a field that is right by our church. It was so pretty outside with all the fall colors. We even brought our dog so she could run around too. The kids had fun playing in all the leaves (Kylin just wanted to eat them) and Mckay had fun playing with all the trees and sticks. It was a really fun night just to hang out and spend some time together.

We went to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday for F.H.E. with the Bowcut family. They had a huge selection and it is always a lot of fun to pick out our pumpkins. Mckay was more interested in playing around then really picking a pumpkin...he probably won't want to pull out all the guts either. I can't wait to carve them.
Me and the stinker-roo...not the best lighting but, what do you do. :) Look at the funny face Kylin is making!

Kylin wanted to crawl all over the place and get on all the pumpkins

Mckay always loves the funny looking pumpkins!

If you all are thinking I take more pictures of Kylin than Mckay, you are right. Mckay is SO HARD to take pictures of...Kylin will just look at me and usually I can get a smile out of her.

Just had to show you the cutest picture of Mckay playing in the leaves!
