CALIFORNIA...wahoo!
Here are our vacation pictures...I won't tell you how many I took because it is embarrassing :) hehe. But, just let me tell you that I slimmed it down quite a bit for my posts. we had a WONDERFUL time together as a family...a MUCH needed vacation. The prior year was really tuff with me being preggo, sick, having a new baby, moving, new jobs, school.....LOTS of crazy stuff. So, I felt like this was a much needed happy break for us. THANK YOU Uncle Sam. haha. I made about 6 posts of the different days and things we did...so scroll down (you might even have to hit the "older posts" button) and grab some popcorn!
I love these summer days...

Summer is of course my favorite season...I love SUNSHINE it just makes me happy. It's nice to be outdoors and the kids are just really loving it . Here are a few of my favorite things so far...
Fresh summer roses in morning and they smell so AMAZING!

Waking up to this face every morning with the sun coming through our window :) Craig has only 1 class this summer and it isn't in the mornings anymore-so I get to see him every morning. Don't kill me for taking this picture honey!

Summer night storms- the kids love the lightning and will sit and look out their window at what they call, "The show"

Having a fenced in yard for them to play in is so great. They will hang out for hours on their swing set. Mckay can get so high on this!

Ky just loves to hang on the swings and go down the slide.

My sweet little babies...

I am trying to keep up on my scrapbooking....so I already have a page done :)
I know there were will loads more fun summer stuff to post later like: County Fairs, swimming, camping, sprinklers, popsicles, fireworks, parades, hiking....GOSH I LOVE SUMMER!
Day at the Air Show...
Today we went to the Air Show at Hill Air Force Base. It was TONS of fun..and FREE! My favorite kind of activity :) It was super crowed, but totally worth it If you can see the look on Mckay's face in every picture you will see how much he LOVED it... Craig was in Heaven pretty much all day too.
They had probably about 50 or more different planes on the ground that you could look at and go into...some HUGE ones and little jets too. They had lots of planes from WWII all the way to the present. Really cool stuff, and different airshows of all kinds of planes ALL DAY long.
And of course the BEST part of the day was the Thunder Birds- they were AMAZING! The kids thought they were great for a while till it got really loud and scared Kylin a little.
It was just a REALLY fun day to spend as a family doing something different and we LOVED it! Too bad Craig is sick right now with sun stroke & I am a little burned...
The Fair....again :)
Our family goes to A LOT of Fair's I decided! This year we have already been to, The Weber Fair, Davis Fair, Morgan Fair, Peach Days, and now the Utah State Fair (saving the best for last). I think we like to go to all these Fair's to enjoy wholesome redneck Americans like these people
I know that is TOTALLY rude of me, and I hope you all don't think I'm a brat, but for those of you who don't go to Fair's I wanted to paint you a little picture....and it's HILARIOUS! Or, we go to all these Fairs for the great food, to look at booths selling all kinds of stuff from spray on tattoos and jewelry to wax hands....yes you heard me right, for only $40 you can get a wax mold of your hand to display on your mantel. Funny I know...the most I would pay for one is $25 (I hope you are catching my sarcasm here) We also, like to take our kids to ride the pony's, look at all the animals, and occasionally get a cheap carnival ride. All the while, listening to country music pushing a stroller and enjoying the crowd of crazy people. It doesn't sound like a good time...but REALLY it is. The best part is just hanging out as a family, and the kids really love it. So here are LOTS of pictures from our last fair of the year :)

SCREAMED! He loved it last year, but this year he really was scared. Poor thing, didn't help that we couldn't help but laugh....Gosh we are mean!
Every year they have a FREE pretend farm for the kids to go through and collect different things and learn how to do things from around the farm. This is the first year Mckay was brave enough to milk the fake cow.
There was apple picking, planting & collecting veg tables (in a sand box), brushing sheep, milking & feeding cows, and...
At the end of the farm, they get to "sell" all their stuff and earn a fake dollar to spend at the local store, where the kids got some yummy cookies. This is defiantly the highlight of the fair for them every year :)THE FOOD
Cotton Candy, Drinks, Popcorn, Funnel Cake, Curly Fries...
Mckay and his cotton candy...he ate almost the ENTIRE thing. I just thought this was a cool picture so I did kinda a funky wash on it in photoshop.
This is my FAVORITE part of fairs...the FUNNEL CAKE! I know I look totally crazy in this picture, and I can't help it I just LOVE this stuff. This one was chocolate, and Bavarian Creme. YUMMMM...too bad that, with the plate of curly fries made me sick, my body probably couldn't handle the over load of FAT, but hey it was worth it :)
What we have been up to...
It has been a little while since I have posted, mostly because there hasn't been too much going on. Right now it is 3 a.m. and I CAN'T sleep cause Craig is in our room snoring, he usually doesn't snore, but tonight I've woken him up twice and he will roll over and snore some more. I am gonna be tired tomorrow :)
Anyways, Since the Olympics have been on I have been watching them non-stop after the kids go to bed. That is the beauty of a DVR I can watch whatever events I want and fast forward the rest. I am so into watching indoor and Outdoor volleyball, the US teams only usually. I am in love with Walsh/May and Michael Phelps right now :) They are just amazing! I sit there and jump and scream at my TV. For those of you who know me well, know I LOVE sports and I especially love volleyball...I also watch Basketball & gymnastics too.
Michael Phelps is a freaking Machine...He hasn't lost once and has broken a record every time he has swam!
__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __ __Also, in the past week we have been to a couple fairs, the Morgan Fair, Weber County, & Davis County Fair. The kids LOVE them and they are cheap! I only have taken a couple pictures though because I forgot my camera at some of them :) But here are some pictures...
This is Mckay's first time not being scared of the horses...his first time riding alone. Ky on the other hand was not scared AT ALL. She was smiling the entire time and didn't want to get off.
They had a huge sand pit there that the kids loved playing in. It is funny how kids can sit and be entertained by sand forever! He was so proud of his volcano, which later got destroyed.
They had a petting zoo there and of course Ky wasn't scared. She kept patting the goat on the head. Kailey almost got kicked in the face by a huge cow...it was really scary and we are glad she has angels watching over her :)
We went to this fair with my sister and her kids. Mckay LOVES his cousins and it is always so much fun when they get to be together!
Mckay and his cotton Candy (look at his dirt tears from when his volcano got destroyed in the sand box). Ky loved her cotton candy too...she was covered in pink by the end and was eating it like she had never eaten a day in her life.
They had these cool wiggle cars a a booth, so of course "The kids" had to try them out :)
Happy 4th!
We had a really great Holiday with the Howe family! It started at 10 AM with the North Ogden Parade. Which, the kids LOVED...mostly because of all the candy the floats throw out. We had pretty good seats right across for Kirts.
Then after the parade we went to the Howe's and tie-dyed T-shirts! It was out first time and was really fun! The only problem is, is that after we washed and dried them, they turned pink and all the colors REALLY faded. So, we will have to do a little research for next years shirts (any tips let me know). I still made our family wear them even though they didn't look so great :) After tie-dye we went to the "Cherry Days" booths and looked around and got some cotton candy. Mckay even got to go on a little ride. Next year I think I will be a vendor and actually have a booth for my photography.
After Cherry Days we went back to the Howe's and had the BEST BBQ ever! Steak, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes! I am drooling just thinking about how amazing it was. Then we went to fireworks at Weber High, except this year we didn't go up on the football field because the kids were tired and we wanted to get out of the parking lot before midnight. We just sat down in the park and watched. So, to sum it up, It was a great day.... even though I didn't get to take all the cool pictures I had planned out it my head to remember it (it is just too hard with uncooperative kids) but, that is life right...maybe next year.
Sharlie was in the Parade this year, she is President of the Honor Society. Good job Shar!

Ky was not scared of the fireworks AT ALL...she LOVED them. She even kept looking at the sky for the next 5-minutes after they were over hoping there would be more.
The little monkey and me. He was pretty excited right before they started but, then when they did start he was scared of them....Oh well maybe next year he will get over it.
