I can't believe it...

Piper is 6-months already!!! I want SO BAD for her to just stay little. This is my favorite stage right now...6 months to 1 1/2 years old. SO much fun cause you see their little personalitys come out and Piper has such a cute one. She is such a good baby, so smiley and happy all the time (unless she just got 4 shots). It is funny, I always say I don't have favorite children, just favorite stages :) Anywho, here are Piper's stats and OF COURSE a few pictures!

And for those of you who don't check the scrapin' blog....I has to scrap these pictures right away cause I love them so much :) So bright and springy! Going to be making my 12x12 book again soon.
Doesn't she just make you smile :) Well...she makes me smile and so so happy!

ps. just wanted to say thanks for everyone leaving their emails and being so sweet and kind with your comments :)

Piper has a Question....

Yep, I got my baby's ears pierced! I am the meanest mommy ever :) She only cried for about 30 seconds and has been fine since. I like to get my kids ears pierced early because firstly, IT IS ADORABLE, and secondly it is nice doing it when they are little because cleaning their ears is so easy. Also, Ky loves that her ears are pierced and so I am glad I did her's and that is one reason I decided to do Piper's. Doesn't she look so cute with her new bling!

my Little Jumper Roo...

OK- so I know I have been posting like every day, BUT like I have said many times before, this is my journal and I want to remember these things :) Plus, I just can't get enough of taking pictures of this cute little thing. She plays in her jumper now and has a blast...she just sits there and squeals. It is funny though as soon as I pull out my camera she usually gives me this serious face. Very rare when I can get a smile on camera :)

I am going crazy being cooped up inside...I really can't handle winter anymore...I hope you guys are having fun indoors. Tell me how you stay sane!!!??? I have been making lots of trips to the McDonald's play place to get some of the kids energy out :)

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'....

My little baby is rolling really well now...she get all over the place! I will put her in one place and come back 5-minutes later and she is at the other end of the room. She is 5-months now and just as busy as can be :)

Kinda blurry pictures, she did it fast and I didn't have my camera on the right settings...still cute though :)

I'm so in love...

I know you are all probably sick of seeing this little face, but I can't help it. I just LOVE her so much and can't get enough! I took her to the Dr. for her 4-month well check the other day and here is all about piper :)

- Sits up in Bumbo
- Rolls over
- Eats rice cereal
- Sleeps from 10pm-7am
- coos and tries to talk like crazy
-Loves to snuggle

STATS:

10 lbs. 8 oz. (5th %)
24 1/2 inches (50th %)

in summary she is....A SHRIMP!!!

ps. if any LOVES her hair clip like I do, let me know and my sister might start selling them on Etsy :) Thanks KIMBO

What's a girl gotta do to get a bubble bath around here...

I never get a minute of peace to myself anymore because the kids just WON'T take naps at the same time. So, I decided instead going for 3 days without bathing that I would take Pip with me. She lasted about 10 minutes before starting to get fussy....Oh well at least I don't stink anymore :)

At least a had a cute view from the tub!!!

Is she that old already...

Hi ya'll! I have been MIA for a while...in fact I think this is the longest I have gone without posting. January has been such a crazy month- Two birthdays our anniversary and just lots of crazy family stuff going on. I need to play catch-up and get Ky's birthday on here, but before I do that I though I would post a few of my cute little piper....SHE IS EATING CEREAL NOW! Man the time sure does fly by! She is already 4-months old and just so much fun, I just wish I could stop her from growing up and keep her this little and cute forever :)

As you can see, she didn't much like it. hehe. But, we are going to keep trying of course.

Piper Talking

Piper LOVES her daddy. He can get her to coo and smile and make all kinds of noises that she won't make for anyone else. Usually she goes crazy, but of course since I pull the video camera out she is isn't talking as much as she normally does. It's cute anyway though :) I just really wish that the lighting was better in this video though! Oh well, I replayed it like 10 times and it makes me laugh every time.

Ps. be sure to pause the music so you can hear her :)

I'M BACK!

FINALLY our computer is fixed! WOWZERS I was going through some serious withdrawals. I couldn't check anyones blogs or barely my email. So anyways, there has been lots happening the past few weeks since I have posted last. I will have to do a "catch up" post later with some Thanksgiving, black friday, cookie houses and some other fun stuff we've been up to.
But, I am just gonna hurry and post Piper's blessing day first :) It was such a WONDERFUL day! Craig gave a beautiful blessing and I got to hear both of my sisters bare their testimony's which was so so great. I am thankful to our families that were able to come and be with is on this special day especially driving through all the snow. We had a yummy waffle bar after church was over and were able to hang out for a few hours and just talk. What a good time! I wish I had remembered to get pictures of everyone that was there! darn :( I just have to say that I love my little Piper and I am so thankful she is apart of our family! I can't imagine my life without her.
Her dress was pretty big on her, but I still liked it because it had a cool vintage feel to it. It was SOOO long! and It did come with a bonnet...but Craig isn't a fan :)
Look at that sweet wittle face...I seriously cant kiss her enough. She is starting to smile which is SO MUCH FUN for us!

The family picture of course. I still can't believe we are a family of 5!

I couldn't get a decent picture of them to save my life...they were way to wired with grandmas 2 feet away. Poor piper. hehe.

Newborn Pictures

I love that I have a new little person to take pictures of! Newborn pictures are some of my favorites so I was really excited to take Piper's! I didn't have time to take very many cause life is just UBER crazy right now, but I like the ones I got :) What a sweet little thing she is! And here is her birth announcement....

Our little Piper is here!

Most of you who use Facebook know that our baby girl is here and we couldn't be more excited! She is so perfect and we love her so much. Piper Kaye Howe was born Saturday Sept. 26th @ 3:54pm. Her weight was 5 lbs 11 oz and 18 inches long...tiny little thing :)

Although she didn't feel so tiny when I was pushing her out. hehe. The epidural this time wasnt very strong...so I felt most the pain. It just kinda took the edge off.

But, let me tell ya- It was really cool this time because they put up a mirror so that I could actually watch the birth. I thought it might be kinda gross, but my sister & mom totally talked me into it and I am SO glad I watched...it was so neat AND it really helped me with the pushing to actaully see what I was doing- so I got her out in 4 pushes. Anyone who is about to have a baby...DO THE MIRROR :)
She had the cord wrapped around her neck so her face was REALLY really bruised. My Dr. said she hadn't been growing inside me for the past 2-weeks...I think it is becuase the cord was all wrapped around her neck and body. So we are VERY VERY blessed that everything is ok with her. Just some brusising. She actually weight less than Kylin and Ky was 3-weeks earlier. crazy.

Anyways, it has been a AMAZING experience to be able to hold my baby after giving birth and actually having her there with me instead of being taken to the NICU. I kept asking them if they were going to hook her up to any monitors to monitor her heartbeat and they we like "nope, you just get to keep her here in the room with you." It was SO WEIRD! Plus- after 48 hours they let us take her home. Thanks to everyone who came and visited and helped me through it all :) You know who you guys are...LOVE YOU!

Craig helped me SO MUCH during the birthing process, which is another reason I got her out fast. He would take these big gulps of air with me and then say PUSH. It was SO so helpful.

My little girl was the first thing I got to hold...Gosh I love her so much! Of course I got all teary-eyed.

And this bad boy was the second thing I held! hehe. I was so freakin hungry. I started into labor at 11:00 and got done @4pm. Not to bad, I know, but I was starving :)

Craig is already SUCH a good daddy and a big help to me.

I know the picture is blurry, but it CRACKS ME UP! She looks so tiny in her car seat and not super happy. hehe.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
HOME AT LAST! :)
My kids LOVE HER SO MUCH! They were so excited to meet their baby sister. They couldn't come to the hospital because it is level 2 lock down because of the flu epidemic. No one under 15 allowed.

Look at the looks on their faces...they are so excited!

BUT Let me tell ya...HAVING 3 KIDS IS REALLY HARD! I have cried a lot this week because I am just so overwhelmed. I am so thankful my mom came and helped me for a few days. As soon as she left I cried cause I just thought to myself "I CAN'T DO THIS!" I spend most the day and night feeding Piper (who breast feeds pretty darn good I think...she just takes forever) She is my first kid who actually caught onto nursing-so this a new experience for me too. But- it is hard cause I want to still spend time with my other kids and want them to feel special. Plus- I am exhausted and have a hard time keeping the house clean now that my mom is gone. BUT I am not complaining..I LOVE LOVE our new addition. I just want to be a good mommy and am feeling overwhelmed.

Piper had her 5-day check up and she is doing good. She needs to be under lights for 4-days to get rid of her Jaundice- but they have lights we have set up at home. We just have to watch her lots so she doesn't pull the eye wear off like she likes to. Craig slept by her crib for 2-nights now so he can check on her every 1/2 hour. What good daddy!

Sorry such a long post...I just want to remember this time in our family. It has been so wonderful having this special little spirit in our home. THANKS everyone for being so wonderful and for people's help through it all :)
