Why can't we just have some sunshine???

We are pretty dang tired of being cooped up around here. So today when it was pouring outside, I decided to let the kids go out and play. They loved it! They were stomping in the gutters and finding earth worms (which I later found in Mckay's pocket when I was doing laundry) and just running around. It stopped raining super hard, so they were able to stay out for a while :)

I think at first she was worried about getting wet & dirty...

But, then she just forgot all about it and had a great time. She started dancing and trying to catch the rain in her mouth.

ps. I know you are all thinking I am super silly and got her all dressed up to play in the rain BUT we were actually out running errands and she already had the skirt on :) Just threw on the boots and her rain coat. hehe. Although- I would't put it past me to dress up my kids for stuff so the pictures turn out cute or to match scrapbook paper I have. hehe.

The mother of all catch-up's

despite us all being so freaking sick for a week (we are doing much better now), there has been a lot that went on. So here is a recap of about a week of life at the Howe's :)

Mckay had a Valentines Party at his Preschool for all the Mom's and it was so freakin' cute. He has THE BEST school ever and I am so glad I got to go and see all the fun projects he has been working on.

I wish I had brought my video camera! Because they sang 4 of the cutest songs with hand motions and everything. SO ADORABLE!

The "Love Bug" That he made for me

He really does have the CUTEST classroom. I am so lucky he gets to go to school here. What a fun hour to spend with just my little guy. It's very rare when Mckay and I get to spend time just with each other and I loved it.

So so so much food. We didn't even eat half of it...this actually isn't even all of it :) I wasn't feeling very well so I didn't eat barely anything :(

Stacie and Stratton Surprised us and came up to Party with us! LOVE THEM...they are always so much fun :) and my kiddos love them.

Poor Stratton, most the time the kids were climbing all over him and wanting them to play with them. I don't know how much of the game he got to watch.

Maybe we should have just left them in there and hooked them to the door or something. hehe.
I am lucky because MY snuggie comes with these cute SNUGGLERS :)

So- Stacie & Stratton (have I told you how awesome they are yet? hehe) sent us a package in the mail with all kinds of fun awesome treats. "The Blue Box of Wonder" she called it. When the kids found out it was addressed to them, they freaked out and went to town ripping it open.

All of their favorite things....Bubble wrap, pudding, red vines, animal cookies and CANDY
She even wrote them special little letters which they thought was so cool. And ones for Craig & I too :)

Look at the concentration on their little faces....they did that for about 1/2 hour.

Then they decided to jump on it cause it made more noise that way :)

The kids LOVE LOVE bowling, so we got to go spend the day with my awesome parents and take them to bowl on base.

It was so cute watching Ky pick up the 6 lb. ball, which you would think was 20 lbs by watching her. I guess when you only weight 23 lbs then a 6 lb ball IS HEAVY! She only dropped it once. hehe.


K- everyone was laughing at me, so my mom had to take a picture. These are my little brother Joe's shoes. He is 17 and 6'1 and his feet are HUGE HUGE. I didn't want to go to the bathroom with no shoes on and I didn't want to take the time to put my boots on and so I was wearing these things around. He has to be like a size 15 or something!

So that is the summary of the week...

All I can say is don't come over to our house

I have 3 VERY sick little kiddos and past week has just been so awful trying to take care of them and seeing how miserable they are :( Kylin and Piper are on antibiotics, but I wish there was more I could do. This is what our house has looked like this week..

I just got back from Now Care at 8 p.m at night because Piper's cough got so bad she was throwing up. They had to take an X-ray of her chest to make sure she was ok. She does have RSV, but there is not a whole lot they can do about that :(

My poor little Ky is just miserable! I don't think she has ever been this sick before. Her and Piper on are Antibiotics for their eyes.

And to top it all off Mckay was throwing up for a little bit and just EXHAUSTED! I am trying to take care of them when I haven't been feeling super great either...that is what the energy drink is for. hehe. Not that it works super great because I am dead tired. So that is our wonderful week here :)

What to do on a gloomy saturday

Keeping our crazy rowdy kids entertained indoors is alway a challenge. Good thing they are super weird and creative. hehe. Mckay came up with these silly ideas. Sorry I really need to work on my video skills :P

I am going to try and post more since I have been doing so bad at keeping my journal (this blog) lately. That is why I am posting all these little weird things...but it is the little weird things I want to rememeber :)

I've decided that...

Snow in the Living Room...

My kids really have been missing the snow since our first little storm (NOT ME)! So, being the little monsters they are, they decided to get into my batting I was using to fill some pillows and make their own snow to play in. I was in feeding Piper and when I hear hysterical laughter from the next room I know something is up. Note to self- don't leave kids alone for more than 5-minutes and don't leave my stuff down!

At least I have 1 good kid of the 3...Here is cute little Piper taking her bath. She LOVES bath time :)

ps. I know Kylin is 1/2 naked in all these pictures and looks totally WILD ,but she had just gotten out of the tub. We aren't total white trash...just mostly. hehe. so sorry for the partial nudity! :)
