Gonna be MIA for a little bit...

Well this turning out to be a CRAZY month, which I really don't need right now :) But, it is good news...WE ARE MOVING to a bigger house this next week. A 4-bedroom condo just down the road from where we are now. It will be great to have a nursery and not have to cram 3-kids in 1-room. It just couldn't come at a worse time since I can't help move and pack. But, we have moved a MILLION times so we can handle it...it is a blessing :)

Craig is taking a semester break from USU and going to the Tech college up here to take some math classes and a cooking class! He has always been amazing at cooking and it's something he really enjoys and wants to learn more about. I am excited to reap the benefits :) The only thing is it's from 7 am-2pm...so there goes my helper with the kiddos :P

Mckay's birthday is also in a couple weeks...so that is gonna be busy too! We are still trying to decide what kind of party to have. I can't believe my little boy is gonna be 5-years old on Aug. 26th. He will be starting preschool too (we are holding him back a year so that he will be the oldest in his grade instead of the youngest).

Also, my sis-in law Stacie is Engaged and I couldn't be more EXCITED! She found the greatest guy and they are so perfect together. I did some engagement pictures a few days ago of them. Check out my PHOTO BLOG if you wanna see more :)

So there is the update on life right now! So don't be surprised if I am MIA for a little bit!

Happy Election Day...

I have voted ever since I've been 18, but I kinda wanted to document today cause I think this is a really big election. So, Craig and I went and voted this morning and I snapped a few pics. I know that like 80% of Utah is republican also, but it still makes me feel good to vote and put my little mark out there :) I hope you all did the same. We really are so blessed to live in this country and be able to have a say in who our government is. Gosh I love America! I know we are going through tuff economic times here, but how blessed we are compared to so many other nations. I will be watching closely tonight to see who our next president is.

Weezer Boys....

Well, the new Weezer CD came out the other day and it got me doing a little reflecting on Craig's high school days :) Some of you might know that Craig & his group of friends were called "The Weezer Boys"....cause they love emo music and just their weirdness, I don't know. hehe. It was Craig, Bryan, Nayt, Jon, Peter, Jimmy...I am sure I'm forgetting someone. But, here are a couple random pictures I dug up and they just crack me up (there are SO many more). What a bunch of weirdos! Even now, we see Jon lots (they are business partners) and he talks to Nayt and pete all the time. We even hang out a couple times a year.

This blast from the past makes me remember some of the reasons I fell in love with Craig (although you might not be able to see why from those pictures) He is just so fun, kooky and laid back....I love you Honey.

Craig, Peter, Bryan, Jon, and Mallory
Matching shirts....Craig never wore anything matching in high school...EVER! That was the one thing I made sure I changed when we got married. His entire closet used to be polyester because he shopped at savers.

I don't know what this picture is from, but I know that it's NOT Halloween. Something about going to the airport dressed like this and adventures of Dog Boy....

Total Craziness

This has been such a busy month! Not to mention all the little side projects I am in the middle of right now. That is why I have not been posting very much lately. I am in the process of finishing my photo studio which, should be done in the next couple days. It has been A LOT of work. We totally had to putty, sand, paint, put down base boards, and carpeting! One night we stayed up to 4 a.m. Craig is such a sweetie. Now, all I need to do is the finishing touches like getting portraits on the wall and a couch. I am SOOOO excited!

Also, I have been working on launching the scrapbooking "How to" blog with my sister. Which, I am way behind on and Kim has been doing most of the work so far...I need to catch up. Don't worry we plan on having it up in the next week. I know some of you are super excited...so am I.

Plus, I have been doing lots of photo shoots lately and that is on top of everything else that is normal day-to-day stuff with 2 kids. But, I can't complain...I am happy for all the business. hopefully I will get my head above water soon :)

Our V-day

We had a great V-day this year. We made yummy heart sugar cookies...Which, Mckay LOVED to make and decorate. Then Mckay made some Valentines for his Grandma & Grandpas and "his favorite girl," Sharlie, and "Favorite Boy," Mikey. Sorry mom, we forgot to give you yours when you were here :). Later that night Craig made me a YUMMY romantical dinner with candle light. We had steak and fettuchini Alfredo with bread sticks and sparkling cider. He is such a good cook and it was so much fun! Then we went out to see "Fools Gold" Which I thought was pretty good. So it was a great fun night. Thanks Mom & Dad Howe for watching the babies for us! I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day!

Since we are on the topic of Valentines day, I though I would do the "tag" I got from Amy and talk about my sweetie. I LOVE YOU CRAIGIERS!

ALL ABOUT CRAIG:

What is his name: Craig Richard Howe

How long have you been together? We were married Jan 3rd 2003.

How long did you date? We dated for about 3 months before he went on his misson, I wrote him his entire mission, and then we dated for 8 months after he got home. I was one of the 3% that actually waited for their missonary!

How old is he? 26 almost 27...man, that seems old to me.
His birthday is: May 12th

Who eats more? Me I think...sadly. Except if there is something Craig really likes then he will chow down. I definatly beat him in the sweets department too. I just LOVE food!

Who said "I love you" first? Craig did. He said it about 2 weeks after he got home from his mission. Even though I knew I loved him and wanted to marry him by our 2nd date. But, you don't tell the guy that unless you want to scare the crap out of them!

Who is taller? Craig--he's 6 feet. I am only 5'4. Everytime he drives after me he has to push the seat all the way back and can barely get in. He always makes fun of me.

Who can sing better? Craig, although I can't ever get him to sing for me. Sometimes he will sing to the radio and that is all I get. But, he really does have a great voice.

Who is smarter? Craig again. But, I am smarter in more artsy fartsy creative ways. He is really book smart and just generally smart about EVERYTHING! His idea of a good show is watching engineering and science stuff. My sister Kim calls him the "guy with all the random facts." There is just lots in that brain up there.

Who does the laundry? Me. but, Craig will help me put it away and sometimes,he will help me fold it if we are watching a show or listening to a book together.

Who pays the bills? Me again. If I am not in charge of that I will go crazy with worry not knowing what gets paid and if we have enough money. But, he makes the money.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you are standing at the foot of the bed, Craig lays on the left side. I think we do it that way so I feel more safe. If someone comes in to attack us then the first person they encounter is big strong craig..who will save the day before they can get to me. hehe. It makes me sleep better at night. I am silly I know.

Who mows the lawn? Craig...but, not often enough

Who cooks dinner? Both of us. Craig is a much better cook, and enjoys it more. I only do it cause I have to. I like to bake.

Who drives? Craig does. he doesn't really like my driving and I never know where I am going.

Who is more stubborn? Me for sure

Who kissed who first? I think it was a mutual thing. We made out during an entire drive-in movie on our first date. I don't think that we will share that with our kids. But, I am telling that guy is a AMAZING kisser :)

Who asked who out first? Craig asked if "I wanted to hang out" on AIM. We used to talk on that all the time....we were so lame.
Who proposed? Craig. He hid the ring in a pumpkin I was carving.

Who has more friends? About the same. Although, Craig has lots more freinds around here. Mine are spread out everywhere.

Who is more sensitive? Oh my gosh, ME! Craig is not sensitive at all. Just so mellow.

Who has more siblings? Equal. We both come from families with 3 girls and 3 boys

Who wears the pants? Depends on what issue. I would like to think that I have him wrapped around my little finger...but, I don't. We usually figure things out together.

So, now you know a little more about Craig!
I tag EVERYONE...it is always good to learn about everyone's other half

Bad Mommy...Good Daddy

Well, I have to show you all what a great mommy I am. It is actually pretty embarrising, but funny, so I thought I would share. Ok, so we go to my parents or craig's parents house every sunday for dinner. We were in a rush on Sunday to get to my little brothers ordination & I totally forgot to grab the diaper bag. Well, Kylin pooped her diaper while we were at my parents house. And I didn't want her to sit in it for the next 4-hours, so my parents came up with this idea. Yes, it is a dish towel & duct tape. I say they get points for creativity. Thank goodness they had a camera. She did not think it was half as funny as we did. It was a good and great till she piddled. Thank goodness no one was holding her at the time. haha. So I win the award for the greatest mom ever!

What a good daddy Craig is, thank goodness she didn't pee on him :)

Geek in Training

So you all know that Craig is a big geek already. That is his gaming headset he wears to play World of Warcraft. I have to sadly admit that....I have a matching set. But, in my defense I play so that I can spend time with my husband doing things he loves :) Needless to say, I think our kids are geeks in training. They don't stand a chance.

South Ogden Days

For those of you who aren't from around here, South Ogden days is kind of like a Fair...it celebrates when S. ogden was founded. There was a mud volleyball Tournement that we entered with Kim and Ryan and their freinds. It was a lot of fun and a HUGE mess! I am sure you can see how deep that mud is! It was so hard to move around in, so being the short team that we were, we had a really hard time and got our butts kicked. But, it was still alot of fun. Craig had a Dish network vendor booth that he was doing there, so we spent 2 days there pretty much. Lots of fun!

Kylin LOVES her daddy

Kylin, loves it when we talk to her and make faces at her. She coos and smiles like crazy. It is the cutest thing ever! It is those moments when I LOVE being a mommy and it makes all the hard times worth it.

Craig's Business

I wanted to update everyone that Craig's Dish Network business is up & going and doing well. He started it at the beginning of the year with two of his friends. He loves having his own business and going to work for himself. I love it because I get to stay home with my kids and Craig gets to be here most the time. He only works about 2-3 hours a night. Thanks to everyone who has supported and invested in his business.

Sleepy Time

Craig just got done feeding Kylin a bottle and decided to take a nap with her. I had to get a shot cause they are just so cute together. Our little Kylin is such a snuggler and I have to say...so is her daddy.

The Burp King

Craig is always the designated burper in our house. He can always get our kids to burp. He says that I am too soft and am just patting. So everytime he is there after I get done feeding Kylin he burps her. He is such a wonderful daddy!

Christmas Party

Craig & I went to a Company Christmas party on Saturday. It is not actually our company but, Craig did a little work for them and so we were invited. It is Ryan's company and so we went with the Bowcuts. It was fun getting all dressed up. We haven't done that for a long time so I decided to take a picture of me and my handsome husband. :) The party was GREAT too. Good food and a lot of fun!

Silly Traditions

It is a sort of ritual that craig grew up with to lay over the heat vent on the floor. There is a vent in our bedroom right next to our bed so, he makes a tent over it and traps in all the hot air. Mckay and our cat Jack have started this tradition with him. They lay there and cook until the heat goes off. It is the funniest thing!
